Overcoming Chronic Pain: MacKenzie's Journey to Recovery

Hi, everyone! My name is MacKenzie Tibs, and I want to come on here and share my story. It's not easy for me to talk about, but I know what it's like to go through pain and live every day wondering when it's going to get better.

I couldn't participate in sports, I couldn't work out, and I was very depressed. At one point, I even wanted to chop off my leg because I thought that would be a better life for me and that it would finally get me out of pain.

I visited many different doctors, and they just kept telling me, "It's something you're going to have to live with for the rest of your life." It was incredibly discouraging to hear this over and over again.

But then, everything changed when we found Dr. Williams. He has changed my life so much, and I am so happy we found him. At our first appointment, he spent three hours with us. He really took the time to understand my story, what I went through, and explored different options to try to help me. I remember telling my mom and dad, "Let's book this surgery. This is my surgeon."

During that surgery, Dr. Williams found something that no other surgeon had ever discovered or even explored. This just goes to show how amazing Dr. Williams is.

I am so thankful for Dr. Williams and everything he has done for me. He's helped me rediscover my love for the things I used to enjoy. I'm back to working out and doing CrossFit, and I am so happy for that. I used to not be able to wear closed-toed shoes, and now I'm wearing them again. Thank you so much, Dr. Williams, for everything you've done.
